Lake Russell: 

          Lake Russell is one of the most pristine fishing lakes the Southeast, with over 22,000 acres of water managed by the Corps of Engineers.  Large mouth bass, Spotted bass, crappie, and catfish can all be caught out of this lake.  

 

 

Clark's Hill is the largest lake in Northeast Georgia, approximately 40 miles in length from Elbert County to Augusta, Georgia.  Large mouth bass, stripers, crappie, and catfish come out of this lake.

 

 Lake Hartwell:

 

 Lake Hartwell is also known for it's Large mouth bass,  crappie, striper and  catfish.

     Calhoun Falls is located on Lake Russell, one of South Carolina's most popular fishing lakes. Lake Russell is a 26,650-acre lake that is an excellent place to fish for bass, bluegill, crappie, catfish and others.The town was named after the Calhoun family, one of first families to settle her in the 1700's. The town grew due to the railroad and textile mill located in here. Calhoun Falls State Recreation Area is located here on Lake Russell, offering lakeside camping, as well as a hiking trail, picnic area, tennis court and seasonal swimming area.  (Calhoun Falls is approx 10 miles from Lazy L Cabins.)
